1. What is CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility)?
CSR is when businesses take responsibility for their impact on people, the environment, and the community. It goes beyond profit-making to include positive contributions such as volunteering and our sustainability projects.
2. What is a Sustainable Community Champion?
A Sustainable Community Champion is someone within a business who helps build sustainable communities by supporting our local initiatives. i.e "Come and See", Shop and Drop Community Drive etc. This could be an existing Community Champion role expanded with a sustainability focus, since all of our events are designed around creating long-term, supportive communities.
3. Can anyone be a Community Champion?
Yes. Anyone can become a Community Champion by speaking with their employer and asking to take on the role.
4. What does a Sustainable Community Champion do?
Champions volunteer their time (2 hours monthly, quarterly, or annually) to help manage Come and See events in the community.
5. What is a Come and See event?
It is a copyright event Come and See is held in a school, leisure centre, or community venue where people in need are invited to receive:

6. What other help do you need besides Come and See events?
You can sponsor a parent to become a Sustainable Impact Volunteer. They collect donated food items and distribute them to people in need — while also being supported themselves. See other ways you can help
7. Can I be matched to a local Come and See event?
Yes, you can be matched to an event within your borough or city.
8. Is there a cost for the starter pack?
Yes. The starter pack includes:

Cost: £299 + VAT + £14.99 delivery (to one central address). Upgrade: Includes Food and Hygiene Certificate £399 + VAT
9. Can I invite another branch/ refer another company to join?
Yes with more Sustainable Community Champions that sign up the greater the impact collectively.
10. How do I get started?
Simply complete the registration form and set a date (at least 1 month in advance). We will then match you to the nearest Come and See event.
11. Are some Come and See events public?
No. Some events are internal, such as those held at schools or residential estates.
12. Is there a monthly subscription?
No. There is only a one-off fee for the starter pack.
13. Can I attend as a guest?
Guest attendance is reserved for HR managers and business managers who are considering introducing Sustainable Community Champions to their workforce.
14. Do you have Come and See in other countries?
Yes and any company can join.
15. How Do We Calculate Net Zero?
